The Magnolia Companies of Louisiana, L.L.C., is a twenty-six company conglomerate based in the Louisiana River Parishes.
For over 50 years, The Magnolia Companies, with the leadership of the Smith family, (Father, the late Henry A. Smith, Brothers Glen D. Smith and Gary L. Smith, Sr.) have developed an excellent reputation in the many business endeavors and relationships, being known for integrity, expertise and a strong emphasis on productivity.
The development of The Magnolia Companies was initiated by the Late Henry A. Smith, Glen’s father, who began a heavy equipment and construction business in the late 1950’s.
Since 1957, the Smith Family has been proactive and is not only serving the River Parishes but also national and international agencies and enterprises.
Whether it has been aiding industry in keeping the river channel of the Mississippi and Mobile Rivers free of deposits of silt; supplying housing for the marine industry; providing a superior natural base material for all industries to use in construction of their commercial operations; providing emergency response to local, state, and federal governments; providing consulting to assist clients in their federal legislation needs; providing commercial real estate properties; developing luxury motorsport equipment; developing new and inventive ways to protect information and operations in the field of cyber security; developing the river parishes first full movie studio; or providing hydraulic crane operations, the Magnolia Companies continues to provide endless services for the River Parishes and surrounding areas.
